Aloxe-Corton Pinot Noir 2010

Served this to Robin and Marian when they came for dinner the first time at Gustav-Gull Platz 11. It went very nicely with the lasagna and sausages. Oh, and also with a charcuterie. Marc didn’t have any, so he couldn’t weigh in on the rating. But it was easy to drink and very nice. — a month ago

Les Combettes Côtes du Brian Marselan 2016

Dark ruby color. A wine I haven’t had. Apparently a combo of Grenache and Cabernet. Strong strawberry nose. A nice palate of dark cherry strawberry tobacco. Complex long finish. — 2 years ago

Château La Gaffelière Naudes

St. Émilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend 2018

2018 is a beaut and drinkable today but positioned for the long game. Fun, spry and lively. Balanced with softer tannins that will last. The taste is multilayered. Berries both dark and light. Not fully ripened cherry, blueberry with perfume and floral scents. Nice minerality and graphite edges. Luv this wine! Wait 2-3 more years before another pop. — 2 years ago

Faro Nerello Blend 2015

Cellar raid #19 - stunning, vibrant Faro with crunchy bright red fruit and strong hints of blood orange peel, what a beaut. — 2 years ago

Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru Chardonnay 2018

Oddly tighter than the 2017 on release. If you drink it soon decant it — 3 years ago
