Smells of dark cherries, Coke, vanilla, some apple pie, cinnamon. The initial taste is really great - loads of rich, fruity (prunes) and vanilla sweetness, offset with an interesting tannin. 2022 vintage. Another winner from Rémy Eymas in this exceptional vintage. 80% Cabernet Franc and 20% Malbec, Beautiful nose with black fruit, violet, and very discreet oak. Concentrated, layered juicy fruit and subtle spices, embedded in a ripe tannic structure, and fresh acidity. Impeccably balanced, which makes the 15% abv go unnoticed. — 3 months ago
