Super delicious Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc. It’s been awhile since I’ve been wowed. — a year ago
Ripe Sancerre. Passionfruit. Fuller and less nervy than I’d expect. Climate change is having an influence on these wines. 14.1% alc. Delicious none the less. — 3 years ago
Thursday night and the wine of choice us another Sauvignon Blanc but Old World, the 2017 Régis Minet Pouilly-Fumé Vielles Vignes.
The nose brings nice notes of lime, green apple, pear, white peach, musk melon and good minerality.
The palate shows very nice lime, passionfruit, pear, herbs, lemongrass, mineral and wet slate.
This wine medium bodied with medium to medium + acidity that moves right into a clean long mineral, citrus finish that sits on the mid-palate pleasingly. One more day until the start of the weekend stay safe and we will be enjoying the weekend soon. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂 — 3 years ago
2018 opened Jan 2023. This has a wonderful nose—tobacco and cardamon on the nose. Strangely the fruit is not on the front of the palate—rather there are mineral high notes on the front rather the back of the palate. Pleasantly soft-level tannins hold all the components together. The fruit shows up on the back of the palate. Medium long finish that’s slightly tart but pleasant. — 12 days ago

Now this is really an extra brut with great character. Hint of apple , pear and spice nicely crafted into a complex finish. For the price this drinks way above grade. Delicious — 3 days ago
