Thursday night and the wine of choice us another Sauvignon Blanc but Old World, the 2017 Régis Minet Pouilly-Fumé Vielles Vignes.
The nose brings nice notes of lime, green apple, pear, white peach, musk melon and good minerality.
The palate shows very nice lime, passionfruit, pear, herbs, lemongrass, mineral and wet slate.
This wine medium bodied with medium to medium + acidity that moves right into a clean long mineral, citrus finish that sits on the mid-palate pleasingly. One more day until the start of the weekend stay safe and we will be enjoying the weekend soon. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂

Aug 17th, 2019I always go back to this Pouilly Fume. Not as zippy as I remember last vintages being, but white peach, grapefruit and kiwi play nicely together. Also a good mineral component but the acidity I recall isn’t as pronounced.
