Grands Epenots Pommard Pinot Noir 1999

Still quite young tasting especially relative to the 96 corton renardes from gaunoux. Would love to revisit in 5-10 years and see what this grows into. — 7 years ago

Clos des Chênes Volnay 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2017

2017 vintage. Staff Burgundy tasting. Last tasted 1.24.26 (9.2), 7.7.25 (9.2) and 1.5.25 (9.3). Really unified and consistent with a medium body currently. 10 bottles left but stock option of 3 cases of the selfsame 2017 available. Will be exercising that option. This was showing really well today. 2.17.26. — 4 months ago

Meursault Premier Cru Pinot Noir 2011

Old 2011. Well... Really great. Still young and fresh, good sapidity and a gently merde de poule at nose. Great way to spend your money. — 5 years ago

Pommard Rugiens Pinot Noir 2001

Plum, sour cherry, dried herbs, ink, stone. A nice amount of age. Underbrush and purity. Quite austere — 4 years ago

Pinot Fin Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2015

First experience with Pinot Fin. At least with the 2015 vintage, quite reminiscent of an early drinking Burgundy. A bit more meatiness on the palate. Interesting and worth a try for an overlooked varietal. Not Pinot Noir as stated by Delectable. — 8 years ago
