I found I really like this producer. Light notes of leather and dried cherry and raspberry. Black tea, fig newtons, and a lil spice cake. The tannnis are there but staring to resolve nicely, medium grained and light siltyness. Acid not overt, medium..? Very well resolved at this point but not peaking yet. Drink or hold. Decant 45 at least. — 5 years ago

Just opened and super impressed. Still very pure dark fruit smoke and some leather. Beefy! Lightly Gamey with some terriaki esk spice notes. Nice dried herbs. Medium concentration medium plus acid. Silky texture. Lightest fine grained tannin and just a touch of subtle oak on finish. In window but has a couple more years. Super super pleasurable and glad I got a few more behind this. Gonna be great with our steak😎 — 7 years ago

Nice black cherry fruit. Tobacco and burnt herbs. Still pretty compact. Definitely has a few more years ahead of it. Tannins are still quite present. Oaks integrated but evident. Balanced m/m+ acid. — 6 years ago

Over achiever. Holy crap this is good. A little reduction. Some melon and light stone fruit. Very bright acid. Light smoke. Tiny bit of alcohol sticking out on the finish but this is a tremendous bottle. Wish I had bought more than 2. — 7 years ago

Delicious! Showing it's age in the best way possible. After 3 hours it took stride and ripe black berry lightly spiced dried plum, and teriyaki beef jerky poured from the glass. Acidity was tart and currant like. Fun stuff. Great with cheese. Light body with fine tight tannin lingering on finish. — 8 years ago

Medium golden color. Honey, apricot, lite saffron on nose. Salty rocks. Wet wood or twigs. Rain. Lite aroma of alcohol. Maybe a few grams of RS. Rich. Acid throughout and alcohol give structure. Medium weight and viscosity. Clean creamy mineral finish after apricot candy. Alcohol leaves a light tannic texture on the finish. — 7 years ago

Very nice. Medium minus body. Mature aromas of dried red and black berries. Leather, some black dirt, like you find near a river. Oil cured olive and some dried herbal notes. Showed some alcohol on the finish but the acidity carries most way through and tannins were very fine like silt at the finish. Light notes of cocoa on the palette. Very enjoyable wine. Wish I could drink more. — 7 years ago

Fantastic acid. After an hour game leather and horseback. Still had perfect acid and very nice silky texture with just a little tannins on the finish. Medium minus body made it a great bottle to drink on this cool spring night. A little red and blue fruit on the nose and palate kept the game notes in check. Such a pleasure to drink. — 8 years ago

Lightest bit of tannin. Balanced acid. After 2 hours showed cigar and ripe dark cherry on the nose. Palette could use more concentration and depth but a very pleasurable bottle. Youthful. — 8 years ago
