This has very attractive strawberry cream, cinnamon and clove aromas, with just the right amount of acidity. Less tannic than the 2015 and not as leathery yet. — 2 years ago
Gorgeous Gamay produced from vines that are between 35 and 100 years old. Nose is fruity with floral aromas and hints of pepper. The wine is typical light mouth feel found in the Beaujolais style but very expressive with lots of ripe fruit, silky mouth feel and a long lingering mineral and white pepper finish. Nice Beaujolais. Great ripe fruit balanced with some earth. Only thing keeping this from being higher is a slight bit of heat on the finish, perhaps due to the 14.5%. — 2 months ago
