Pouilly-Fuissé Chardonnay 2020

Of all the unoaked Chardonnays I’ve had, this is probably my least favorite. Too much minerality in this wine for me. — 11 days ago

Domaine des Berthiers Pouilly-Fumé Sauvignon Blanc 2023

Pale lemon color, with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and herbs. On the palate flavors of pineapple, peach and citrus with floral notes and slight spice. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity ending with lemon citrus and stony herb mineral spice. — 11 days ago

La Moynerie Pouilly-Fumé Sauvignon Blanc

Выпито наутро 1.12.24 после ДР Шамиля в Columbia beach resort с Саввасом и Юлей. Очень очень очень достойный Совиньон Блан. — 2 months ago

Pur Sang Pouilly-Fumé Sauvignon Blanc 2012

Clearly a Sauvignon Blanc, which isn’t always a positive note for me, but the 12’ Pur Sang radiated such energy and clarity that made it impossible to not fall in love with. Aromas of pineapple, lemon, gooseberry, and fragrant white florals intertwined with subtle vanilla. On the palate, a delicate fruit sweetness was perfectly counterbalanced by herbal nuances and piercing, superb acidity, along with a crystalline texture and mineral backbone. Wicked wine as it is now, but it could easily spend more time on its side. — 2 months ago

Silex Pouilly-Fumé Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Pale lemon in color.

Medium in body with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing limes, lemons, green apples, light wood, earth, herbs and minerals.

Nice finish with limes and almonds.

This is a very young Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley in France.

I had a few vintages of this wine and it is definitely better with age. Needs 5 years in the bottle to mature properly, but starting to drink nicely now.

This 9 year old Sauvignon Blanc drinks very fresh and young. Elegant and easy drinking.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 45 minutes of airtime.

Good by itself or with food.

13% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

$250.
