Delicious, dark berries and earthy flavors — 5 years ago
American geography ignoramus that I am, little did I know that the Northernmost tip of the Rhone- Cote Rotie- is the kissing cousin of Beaujolais. St. Amour is more midpoint, but has that great granite terroir which makes this long standing Cru Bojo (& under 20$) a perennial fave. It’s that mineral tautness I love. — 5 years ago

This one's 11 old and still has it. Nose on the downside, but it still has it. Amazing palate, full of smoke, wood, meat and tobacco. Lingers playfully, with a pinch of acidity in the aftertaste. — 7 months ago
Inky in color with short purple rim.
Strong nose of black currants, plums, oak, tar, licorice, spices, charcoal and light blood notes.
Full-bodied and bold with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with black currants, black plums, dark chocolates, oak, spices, licorice, tobacco and peppercorn.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a delicious Syrah from Red Mountain in Washington State. Rich and extracted, yet not in your face kind of wine.
This Single Vineyard Syrah is well balanced with nice complexity. Fruit forward and spicy.
I had the 2022 not too long ago, and it definitely gets better with age. Will continue to age nicely in the next 7 years.
Good by itself as a sipping wine. A New world Syrah on the nose and palate.
100% Syrah grapes were aged for 18 months in 50% new oak barrels. 80% french and 20% American oak barrels. A small production of only 3,000 bottles. Unfiltered.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Had zero expectations for this wine at a party featuring lost bottles from your cellar. It was like a raspberry preserve that you canned 10 years ago and still has the essence of that years growing season. An unexpected joy. — 5 months ago
Wow medium yellow and complex nutty earthy ripe orange spicy notes carrying through to bracing acidity and firm texture then long finish. No sign of oxidation from previous notes and giving it higher ratings. — 8 months ago
An excellent well aged mellowed complex ripe cherry notes. Willie finished bottle! — a year ago
Alsatian White varietal from Michigan. Loads of mouth watering acidity! Complex nose of orange, lemon and white flowers. Lemon-Lime flavors with a hint of fresh cut grass. Minerals and chalk on the finish! Totally interesting! Really delicious! Revisited in November 2022. Still fresh tasting. Reached its peak. — 5 years ago

Absolutely gorgeous nose of cedar, wood shavings, pine, cigar, cassis and florals, with classic Margaux perfume and extraordinary depth. The palate has really smoothed out since my last bottle, with creamy cassis, unbelievable juiciness, tiny-berry concentration, sweet velvety pointillist tannins and beautiful minerality carrying an enormously long finish. Still structured and angular enough to age, but now far more integrated. One of the great Bordeauxs. — 10 days ago
