Slightly herbaceous. Citrus green apple. Chalk flint featured this region. Rich. With elegancy. Good match with seafood. Sweetness. Highly balanced! 13.5% Sancerre Le Chene Marchand Pascal Jolivet 22 @5280, Toscan, 250727-250921 — a year ago
Exactly what I want from Sauvignon blanc — 5 years ago
We want the funk! A fantastic example of how a judicious touch of brett is the best seasoning for Syrah...and how too much of it makes Syrah smell like donkey ass. Really a perfect wine, for what it is. — 7 years ago

Great sauv blanc. Beguiling honeysuckle and green tropical fruit, pear, kiwi. Very generous, comparatively round and textured for Sancerre but still high acid. This will age well.
Unsurprisingly, even better on day 2. A riot of fruit aroma.

Lush, rich Syrah with years to go... — 9 years ago
Honeyed nose, with peach, apricot, citrus, wet stones, subtle oak and med acid. Oak comes through more on the palate, but isn't intrusive. Nutty, medium bodied, waxy and round in the mouth. Intriguing wine.. ABV a bit up there for me, 14%, but balanced. I'm a fan. BBQ pork loin working well. — 9 years ago
