2017 vintage. Lemon zest and saline nose with toasty oak hovering about. Medium body with striking, brilliant yellow Chartreuse color. Initially and throughout, the wine was as taut as piano wire. Decanted 5 minutes after opening and tasted 30 mins after the decant. That toasty oak char came to play along with plenty of acidity. Quite the mouthful of wine currently. A tad tempestuous and in definite need of a mandatory, half-decade time out before being allowed to participate at recess again. 12.09.24. — 25 days ago

Just a little less intense and persistent than the 2020. — 5 months ago
Unbelievable stuff. Intense lemon and minerality. Bright and lifted. Driving fine acidity and great heft. Dazzling and delicious. Wonderful — a month ago

Rich but clean, good minerality with a hint of white flowers - more akin to a meursault than a Montrachet. This was my first Coche and I wasn’t disappointed from the high expectations I had. Glad that I have several more bottles in the cellar!! — 4 days ago
