Tropical fruit and honey, with bright lemon and yeast notes mid palate, med+acidity still and a spicy finish. Still plenty of life in this one! #chardonnay #whiteburgundy — 7 years ago
The nose is typical with cherry, Raspberry, hay, Cola, even... This is quite welcoming. The palate shows some matter and a great acid drive. There are cherry notes dancing all along the acid drive, some width and some nice, a tiny bit thicker than usual mouthfeel. Some lively tannins kick in in the rear before a fruity finish with some salty, meaty touches in the end. This is a beautiful Julienas and I'm glad I have another bottle to leave on the side for a while. — 2 years ago
Cherry, rose petal, licorice, earth and soft tannin. Medium minus body. Fun stuff with aged duck. — 6 years ago
Dimaine Michel Briday is superior for the Rully 1er Cru Champs-Cloux.
This 8 years old Rully is
from the soil of marl mixed with limestone date from the Jurassic period.
Beginning with a nose of rose petal, rhubarb, ripe cranberry and thyme ...
Medium body, bright acid, silky on the palate with a nice long finish. (13% ABV)
One of the best bargain in Burgundy !!!!

This is all the things you want from Cru Beaujolais! Smoked pepper salami, dark plum, violets, blackcherry and lifted carbonics. Juicy, with racy minerality and firm acidity. There’s just enough structure back by boisenberry and plum fruit. Balanced. Decent length. Excellent QPR. — 5 years ago
Pretty. Nice structure with finesse and a long finish. Good, not great, value. — 9 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Pale lemon with aromas of white stone fruits, citrus, honey and floral scents, sourced from 4 different vineyards, exemplifying Rully terrior. On the palate flavors of peach, pear and lemon, well balanced, crisp, lively acidity, medium+ length ending with notes of vanilla, spice and chalky mineral character. — 4 months ago
