Much better than I was expecting. I usually don’t care for “rosé” sour beers/ciders but this was very good. — 6 years ago
S&S have once again come they with their new Canadian Whiskey version. Slightly sweeter than the Bourbon version due to CDN Whiskey being higher in corn but not overly sweet. Will def add this to the regular drinker list. — 6 years ago

Toasted notes of caramel and space are intermingled with deep dark fruit flavors. — 8 years ago
Definitely a repeater. Smooth, very drinkable, multiple levels. Excellent! — 9 years ago

Excellent, with or without food. Smooth, slightly berry, very drinkable. Definitely repeat — 7 years ago
This wine is perfectly aged for tonight. Needs a few years, and it will shine, like tonight.
Smells of blackberry prune preserves.
Tastes of Ripe bush fruit, oregano, super juicy, well rounded mouthfeel, soft, feathery tannins that mingle swimmingly well with the acid and stave.
Great wine, great price. Just needs to sit for a hot minute. — 7 years ago
Wow. Fresh.
The nose has layers of disciplined fruit.
Nothing crazy, very textbook good.
Bright. IlLuminated salted berries, persimmon, ripe, yet not to much, plum, hints of melon. Perfect acidity to stave (Ha!) off the oak.
This is an amazing BDX blend, and so worth the price.
No candied over cloying here.
This is a good expression.

Damn nice Pomerol. Heavy black cherry nose and honestly there’s a lot of that same flavor on the front. Tannins were a bit high on day one but better day two, I get plum and pomegranate coming through, and thankfully there’s still some acidic soil to stave off the sugar rush. Alcohol burn seems balanced and I’m not gonna lie, I paired Night Two with some Sea Salt Organic Beet Chips by Rhythm. Worked well for me. — 6 years ago
On our sofa for Tanglewood this evening with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Our guest conductor Juanjo Mena is leading BRITTEN (Four Sea Interludes from Peter Grimes), MOZART (Piano Concerto No. 9 in E-flat) with the talented Garrick Ohlsson on piano and then concluding with BRAHMS (Symphony No. 3).
We're experiencing intense thunderstorms coming through the area tonight and generally the BSO staff prevents people from gathering on the Lawn ever since a patron was struck by lightning in 2008... So for safety, we're at home enjoying beer tonight! Thank goodness for radio simulcasts!
Color is red-purple-brown, still translucent but dark. Mostly a still beer, no notable bubbles at all. Sour/cherry/oak aspects on the nose. Palate is mild-sour, which is good if you're new at these styles of beer, it's more welcoming. Palate is distinctly tart cherry, with a lingering of oak in the finish. Nice accomplishment by the brewmaster in blending of barrel-aged stocks, smooth and enjoyable! — 8 years ago

This is stunning. Tart cherries with a touch of nutmeg. Deeply oxidized but well balanced with its acidity and oaky tannins. Caramel coming through as the initial carbonation subsides. Closest comparison is Cuvée Freddy, and while that beer is great, this is better. Ready to drink right after pouring, and I suspect it will improve with some time and warming. — 8 years ago
