Bright and tart red cherries and raspberries on the palate, medium body, well balanced tannins — a month ago
Pale lemon with aromas of tropical and citrus fruits with notes of honeysuckle. On the palate flavors of ripe floral white fruits, peach, apricot, citrus and slight spicy character. Lively acidity, medium finish ending with fruit character with honey tones. — 8 months ago
The Cristom Louise Vineyard chardonnay was a delightful Willamette chardonnay, able to stand with the better Napa and Carneros chardonnay. — a year ago
Drinking so well right now. Bright cherry, savory notes, get the earthy mushroom up front and that chocolate cherry finish. Fantastic! — 9 days ago
Fun experience. Deconstructed Louise. 50% is the winner. 0% easily the bottom. Good wine across the board but interesting to taste the influence of sticks. We blended them all together too, pretty good, Cristom is on to something. — a month ago
Darkly floral and youthfully inward, the 2022 Pinot Noir Jessie Vineyard opens with a spicy mix of cedar shavings, earth tones and crushed black raspberries, all lifted by a hint of mint. This is more energetic than expected yet also full of youthful tension. Tart red berries penetrate deeply as grippy tannins settle in toward the close. An air of autumnal spice and lavender lingers as the 2022 finishes with medium length and ample structure. (Eric Guido, Vinous, August 2024)
