For my surprise it is a really good wine, with a bit of present of vinager, and bit of present of zugar — 5 months ago

This was one of the better Tempranillos we’ve had. — 21 days ago
An interesting one.
Smells to me like Cab Franc.
Dark and inky. A lot of unripe fruit, pheonolic bitterness, high acid AND tannins. A real pucker up special.
I get the sense that it's heavily extracted but somehow it retains a kind of lightness and in some way a weird balance works out here. My it sure it would ever be a go-to wine, IDK maybe paired with a fatty fatty pig on a spit it might be just the ticket! — 3 months ago
Really good. Smoothed out after about 30 minutes. Great with our steaks at Butchers in Lisbon. — 8 months ago
Costco rioja. Good. Would get again. Maybe not as good as some of the others but still good. Dry. A little fruity. — 2 months ago
Estate dates back to Crusades & Scottish navigator, George Smith, owner in the 18th century. Followed by M. Duffour-Dubergier, Mayor of Bordeaux, then Louis Eschenauer, a famous wine shipper. In 1990, Daniel & Florence Cathiard now own estate. Blend of 60% Cab Sauv & 40% Merlot, dark berry aromas, herbs and earthy spice. On the complex palate flavors of cherry and currant with pepper, tobacco and cacao notes. Soft ripe tannins, long finish ending with an earthy mineral character. — 4 months ago
Very pleasant. Definitely buy again — 8 months ago

Decant or give it at least 15 minutes in the glass. Spicy plum and nail varnish nose. Plum, dark cherry, vanilla, and cigar box in a medium body, resolving to medium tannins in a long, earthy finish. Delightful Costco find. — 21 days ago
