Coteaux De L&

L. Garnier

Liqueur Fabriquée Par Les Pères Chartreux

NV. Color an impossibly light emerald green. A high, airy nose that flirtatiously disregards the soft tissue of the sinuses and impresses the cranial cavity. Possessing more finesse than should be possible on this earthly planet. The standard green Chartreuse is my fave liqueur but this enters a different dimension. Easily the best liquid or solid I’ve tasted in 2025. 05.05.25 — a month ago

Added a slight amount of mineral water and was still fantastic. the review was based on drinking it neat. I don’t believe this product is being shipped to the USA in the last year or so. With tariffs involved? Def not.

Plus moelleux que liquoreux. Des arômes et saveurs de fruits exotiques, ananas, touche de métal. Moyennement sucré, agréable. — 3 months ago

Rouge Vin de Pays des Bouches-du-Rhône Cabernet-Syrah Blend 1990

Lovely bottle sweetness, dark fruits, leather, some currants, the Cabernet dominates right now over the Syrah, lovely depth and complexity, long, lingering finish, excellent older southern French blend!! — 2 months ago

@Tom Casagrande, I have some bottles left (1988, 1989, mag of 1990, and I think 1995), these were always amazing!!

Nice to see the old world doing a Cabernet Syrah blend. A great blend and very common in Australia as you know.

Cuvée des Grands Côtés Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes Coteaux Champenois Ambonnay Pinot Noir 2012

No doubt the finest Coteaux in all of Champagne, it’s particularly special to find this wine with some bottle age. From south facing 60+ year old vines in Ambonnay, 2012 is showing beautifully, drinking like a top notch red burg, perfumed, silky and pure with soft tannins and saline-mineral inflicted finale. Special wine. — 11 days ago

Rouge-Gorge Coteaux Du Loir Pineau d'Aunis 2022

This was a by-the-glass favorite at the Loire property where we stayed. Biodynamic Pinot d’Aunis. Lots of wild red berries complicated by earthy, peppery and floral tones — 2 months ago

Saint-Victor Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence Rosé 2022

Another solid vintage of this consistently good Provence Rose’. This vintage’s blend is Grenache (50%), Cinsault (30%) and Syrah (20%). Light pink in color with some lavender highlights. Fruit forward aromas of strawberry, watermelon, red flowers and lemon zest. Same fruity flavors with additional notes of peach, orange, and minerals. Touch of white pepper on the tart finish. Crisp, refreshing and clean with a faint hint of sweetness. Nice balance of acidity and alcohol (12.5%). Thanks for sharing, Chris B! — 4 months ago
