Darkness. Deep purple. Full bodied. Some spice and dark fruits. Really enjoyable wine at Cantinetta in Bellevue. — 4 months ago

I got the sense this big beautiful #argentine #malbec blend was just beginning to develop after 6 years of bottle age with decades left to mature. Still delicious, layers of blue/purple fruit, dried herb and spice notes. — a month ago
V21. Outstanding!!! Soft toasted cedar nose. Fresh, rich blackberry fruit. Bright, clean, slightly astringent, medium body, rich chocolate finish. Nicely balanced. — 3 months ago
Light bodied like a Pinot noir with a nice spicy finish. Great summer hangout drinker. — 4 months ago
Not too full or bold. Great with steak. Opened up in a few minutes. — 2 days ago
100% Pugnitello. A grape I’ve never had before. Since I love Italian wine I wanted to try this recommendation from my favorite local wine place. I was a bit leery on the vintage but it turned out delicious. Licorice on the nose, tannic with some smokiness and dark fruit on the palate. — a month ago
It took me 10 minutes to remove the cork but I was able to extract it largely intact…and it was gnarly. Completely saturated. In fact, it oozed the moment I pierced the cork with the worm. A producer I have no previous experience so no context. The color is garnet/orange with all the sediment and opaque as a result. So much earth, mushrooms, teriyaki, toasted coconut, wood, nuts and leather but there is fruit there too! Desiccated red and dark fruits; deep and dark. There’s tannin, still but it all integrated. The acid is a gorgeous girdle. The finish is long, mature and complex. Drink now? But considering it’s lived this long, it will probably continue to last. For how long? Who knows. A lovely surprise.

Deep purple in color; blackberries, black plums, and graphite on the nose; high acidity; medium tannins; tastes like red plums, sage, and clay pots with a long finish. Bri and I liked it. — 2 days ago
