Delicious. Dry. Aromatic. Complex. Delicious. — 4 years ago
Very rare red. Dark rich and supple, not overpowering. Black fruits. Some nice acidity. — 4 years ago
Color is a beautiful, almost unnaturally reddish pink, cloudy and hazy. On the nose you get apple cider, watermelon, candied grapefruit and bubblegum. On the palate it's fairly dry with low acid and some of the notes on the nose are lost. It's mostly green apple, mango, peaches and some yeast. No funk from natural processes and incredibly refined for being unfiltered. On the finish you do get a bit of dried herbs. Pretty energetic bubbles like soda pop. — 4 years ago

Bought at Ninth Ave Wines: love this one — 6 years ago
This is 16 despite the label. Awesome nose. Big cherry fruit, some sweet oak, mint, soil tones, and just an amalgam of intense fruit. Really elegant and juicy with lithe silky tannins and such purity. Terrific structure and top notch finesse. Amazing purity and elegance. Long finish and very chewy. I think needs 3-4 years and/or a 3 hour decant. Terrific focus and freshness. Stunning balance. Awesome. Lovely stuff. — 7 years ago

This wine has a medium lemon hue with refreshing and zesty notes of lemon peel, grapefruit pith, and kumquat, alongside juicy peach, nectarine, yellow apple, chamomile, white blossom, chervil, saline, and wet stone characteristics.
It carries a relative richness lending balance to the fresh primary and mineral notes with a fuller mouthfeel.
This wine is made exclusively from the Godello variety hailing from northwest Spain’s Bierzo appellation in the Castilla Y Leon region.
It was produced by Raul Perez, an acclaimed, small-batch winemaker whose practices have built a beautiful platform upon which the fruit and terroir may express themselves to the fullest and purest extent.
A delightful pairing with pan-seared halibut with roasted broccolini. Cheers!

Great Tempranillo! — 7 years ago
This is a special cuvee that Leon only made once to celebrate the birth of his son. It’s a Cabernet/Merlot blend and effing brilliant. Sick nose. Herbal/bell pepper with big cassis, some wood, but not obtrusive. Floral and just beguiling nose. But the palate. My goodness. Elegant and structured with insane sap and structure but the freshness is what really sets this apart. This is magical wine. Wow. — 8 years ago

Had this on the final evening in Austin TX at Lenore restaurant and wine bar. Great German glou glou! A welcomed refresher to end the vacation! Paired well with the hush puppies & black drum fish entree. — 3 months ago
