Alto Adige - Südtirol Gewürztraminer 2022

Gold in color.

Beautiful nose with a strong aroma of citrus, lichee, tropical fruits, white flowers, minerals and spices.

Full bodied and elegant with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with apples, pears, light earth, citrus, spices and some plastic notes.

This is a tasty Gewürztraminer from Northern Italy. Interesting and easy drinking.

Buttery and creamy with nice complexity.

14% alcohol by volume.

89 points.

Puiten Alto Adige - Südtirol Pinot Grigio 2021

Usually not a fan of PG unless it comes from a Grand Cru vineyard in Alsace… or from Südtirol.
Light pale in colour, very fresh on the nose, crisp & very clear. Like mountain air in the morning. Some light pear, white pepper, a touch of dried herbs, a whiff tangerine peel. But also some rocky mineral notes.
Beautifully balanced on the palate, clean & cool & very fresh. Crunchy pears again. This one has with nice rounded mouthfeel underlined by rocky, cool minerality.
Brilliant for sipping but also serious enough for proper food. Yum!

Sudtirol Alto Adige Pinot Nero 2027

I think I've tried of the Pinots that are rough on the tongue. This delightful bottle is anything but rough. It's smooth but not cloying, unstructured, or flat. There's a light cranberry note taste throughout the palette. — 6 months ago

Very cool red wine from the Alto Adige region. Sweet strawberries and very light body. Probably should have chilled a hot but it hit the spot. Again this was better on day 2. That air really helps — a year ago
