Venezia Giulia Sauvignon Blanc 2018

Solid and enjoyable, slightly sweeter and not as crisp as other Sauvignon Blancs, but still good with Thanksgiving turkey. — 7 days ago

Triple "A" ScodovH Verduzzo

This one is interesting (hints of dark fruit jamminess and slightly green with a hint of oak); there are aspects of it that seem fortified, others that illustrate it’s Orange Wine origins, and still others that make it very drinkable without leaning too far in one direction or the next. Still, there’s an interesting level of a refinement (that presumably comes with age - ‘10). Based on my preferences, I shouldn’t like it… but I really do? — 12 days ago

Father's Eyes Chardonnay 2014

What fun fine at whole foods - 18$ for a mature, oak/ML Italian chard. Wifey loved it...and I loved WF’s rapid chiller (fair lakes location) which allows for the immediate use of a shelf selected white/sparkler. — 11 days ago

Russiz Superiore Collio Cabernet Franc 2014

1st time to drink Marco Felluga’s reds. Loved the balance of the fruit and how approachable it was to drink. Quite impressed!! — 21 days ago

Gaspare Friuli Colli Orientali Chardonnay Blend 2017

Friulian project of the guy from Massican. Would have been cool to try this side by side with the Annia. This was full of ripe and fleshy orchard fruit and melon but with a tinge of briny coastal character. Would maybe hold another couple years — 4 days ago

R_B_L_ Brut Nature 2018

Extremely steely and crisp. Exceptionally refreshing, almost like a bone dry cider. Could drink a couple bottles on my own. Not particularly complex but eminently quaffable. Really, really enjoyable wine. — 22 days ago

Venezia Giulia Rosso 2008

This was a delicious wine. Got this back in 2014 at the winery and it’s drinking wonderfully 11 years old! — 3 days ago
