Ararat Apricot Brandy is a new product from Ararat Brandy Factory. Very smooth light 6 years old cognac with hints of apricot aromas. Perfect for pairing with dark chocolate. — 2 months ago
This is the best Cognac I have ever had. The end of a great bottle. Only 198 bottles made. Started with the 1922 vintage and topped up annually until August of 2013. Then bottled unfiltered. Rich, unctuous. Caramel, orange peel. Amazing depth and a several minute finish. Just incredible. — 2 months ago
At least 15 years of age on this VSOP from a family-owned producer. 40% abv. Very fragrant scotch-like vanilla oak and dried fruit. Complex and spicy finish. Goes well with dates and salted almonds as a digestif. Sipping it neat by a Christmas tree, but it also really wakes up with an ice cube🎄 Not Henny! 🙌 — 2 months ago
Dark, raisin color. Nose of hot dogs (smoky?) and cognac. Cherry and spice. Very drinkable.
Ryan gives it a 94. — 2 months ago
Vintage 2000 / a Gem found in the cellar after removing some boxes, last bottle. In my memory this is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon cuvée. Beautiful ripe smell with tertiary tones, Forrest mushrooms. A hint of cassis. Silky taste. / Paired with tenderloin, flambé with cognac and a pepper creamsauce and a stew of five wintervegetables / Wine with a lot of memories from visits to Anjou vintners — 2 months ago
