Great base-level CdR from the negociant side of Chave. Floral and high toned fruit on the nose, red fruit and a bit of pepper on the finish. Some good typical spice. Decent finish. Slightly high alcohol. Probably has some upside with aging. — 12 days ago

This is another terrific Napa red from the problematic 2020 vintage.

Purple in color with a short purple rim.

Full-bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

This Napa Merlot is still young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly, but already enjoyable, even by itself.

Wine Enthusiasts 96 points.

Nicely balanced and delicious. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.

A blend of 68% Merlot, 27% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. Aged for 20 months in (55% New) French Oak barrels.
