A darker, deeper Pinot than usual. Smooth and rich. Had it with lamb - highly enjoyable. — a year ago

Brioche, macadamia, citrus curd. Understated and taut, as the best Pernand whites have to be. This will be even more special in 5-6 years. — 7 years ago

Really an excellent Pinot noir from Sancerre. After my wife and I took a sip we both exclaimed that we need to start buying more Sancerre rouge - just a great quality / price ratio, especially for Pinot noir. This is ruby red, with a dusty cherry nose. A touch restrained on the palate with lots of minerality coming through - great cherry notes on the palate, long finish. Really nice. — 7 years ago

Truly stunning- a complete wine with power and finesse. Bursting with sweet red fruit. Intense minerality. Ample weight without feeling heavy, and a finish that seems to last all day. The delicacy and sweetness of Volnay with the power and structure of Gevrey. Leather, licorice, tobacco, smoke. In a blind tasting this would be hard for me to differentiate from a 1er cru Burgundy. Easily the best Sancerre rouge I’ve had the opportunity to taste. Will age for 15 years or more. Gorgeous wine. — 8 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Pale lemon color, with aromas of citrus, floral and flinty stone fruits. On the palate flavors of apple, citrus and dried apricots with floral notes and slight nutty herb spice. Long finish, vivid acidity ending with citrus, floral and stony mineral spice. Nice! — 3 months ago
