On the nose, breeding stands out on notes of sweet tobacco, cedar. The mouth is fresh, supple, simple but charming. The aging is fine, and the sour red fruit is fresh and crunchy. Beautiful gourmet and affordable cuvée that does not lack finesse. To be tasted in two years.

I have been searching for this wine. It was with the hunt. Tart spring berries and a little salt at the finish. Now to find the Puszta Libre!! — 17 days ago
Much less interesting then the 2018. Which I reviewed just recently. This wine is elegant with mostly red fruit, cherry (but not in your face) hint of black currant, Plenty of acidity. Touch bark. Subdued crushed marble. May be i am tasting this too young. But over all this just does not strike me as a wine which challenges my palate. Compared to the 2021 E&M‘s from Baden. This is very blah. — 4 months ago
apricot, orange, golden apple skin, grapefruit, orange peel, prickly pear, sage, very salty! — 3 years ago
Very mineralic at first. Blueberry's, pepper and a very mouthwatering acidity. With some air the fruity es will grow stronger, remarkably strong but never like jam. Always light, funky and with a touch of pepper and a hint of leather. A Zweigelt to remember. — 25 days ago

carmen
austrian pinot noir?
it smells sweet. it tastes tannic, sour, slightly funky. it has notes of black cherry, raspberry, vanilla and oak. this is an easy chillable red to drink.
i paired with pad thai. the juicy tannic flavors cut through the rich nuttiness of the pad thai. — 13 days ago
