Fruit juicy goodness. Dark, inky purple and nice acid/black fruit balance. Blackberry, goose berry, boysenberry...plenty of fruit but lively in the mouth and remarkably light on its feet. Round, soft tannins escort the wine on its finish. I used to recommend Cabernet to accompany that crusty, juicy medium rare filet... but this makes a brilliant case for carignan from a good producer and old vines. β 5 years ago
A welcome addition to our wine tasting at our 2025 Christmas party! Very big and bold. Well, structured and smooth.! β 4 months ago
Fresh & fruity with a little minerality. Really enjoyable with a light summer meal. π€π₯ β 4 years ago

Nice alternative to sauv blanc. Not as citrusy or acidic. Beautiful honey suckle smell β a month ago
