Very nice. But low low alcohol — 4 years ago
I dont like cider at all. It’s insipid. Truly. This is good. Some RS and texture without an overwhelming effervescence. Most ciders are too effervescent. This is good effervescence. Wanna talk about too much effervescence? — 4 years ago
On the nose; lemon shortbread, lime, cream, toast, touch of ginger, marzipan, beautiful nice chalkiness, sea spray and verbena.
The body is soft and rich. Lively mouthfeel. The palate is lemon sorbet, lime zest, pineapple, some green apple, light spice that brings some palate heat, touch of dark currants, toast, hints of ginger, marzipan, silvered almond, beautiful nice chalkiness, sea spray, grey volcanic minerals that penetrate into your palate, yellow lilies, fruit blossoms and verbena. The acidy is very nice...well executed, the long, rich, balanced finish is quite enjoyable.

Very good for the $. 55% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meinier. — 5 years ago
Rich textured layers from being left to freeze on the vine. Almost sweet — 3 years ago
Soft and bubbly, apple champagne. Flavorful but subtle enough that it can be paired as a desert wine. — 5 years ago
From Argyle we are basically guaranteed a sophisticated Vintage Brut with nothing to prove for an extremely reasonable price. 2015 is a 70-30-10 blend of Pinot, Chardonnay, and Meinier with a dominant earthy wininess. Crusty bread, apple core, and lemon zest filling out the profile. Crisp, sharp, confident. What I always want. — 4 years ago
