2007 vintage.
Dried Bing and Lapin cherries on the nose with hints of fig.
Plums, dark cherries, tobacco, sandalwood and dried roses.
Smooth well developed tannins combining well with persistent, yet still mouth watering acidity.
Such a gentle, smooth and refined finish.
It hurts me to say this is my last bottle. — 17 days ago

Very good Rosso di Montalcino! Especially with hard cheese and Italian bread! Would also be great with pasta, grilled meats, etc al. Just okay as a sipping wine but comes alive with food!Cherries, brambley fruits, low tannins, good qpr especially as compared to Brunello! — 7 days ago
I think the bottle was a little corked but points bc I still drank it all lol — 14 days ago
This 2019 has subtle aromas with olives and herbs on initial palate. Figgy with tart and dried cherries. Solid, not spectacular — 10 hours ago
Sangiovese / sagrantino / montepulciano blend from hilltop vineyard, several years of tank and cask ageing but no new wood. Huge wine but somehow manages to be lively and dimensional. Dark, fleshy red and black fruits with lots of savory, herbal and floral elements — 9 days ago
