Lachini Family Estate Pinot Noir 2011

Lachini Family Estate Pinot Noir 2011: Medium-light bodied. Noticeable acidity. Low tannins. Soft smooth flavors of cherry, raspberry, strawberry, vanilla, oak & earth. Warm & persistent finish. All in all, a delicious small-production Pinot Noir that lets the grape & terroir shine and speak for themselves. Happy Sunday to all! Cheers🍷 — 20 days ago

Chehalem Mountains Pinot Noir 2020

Light purple in color with a wide purplish rim.

Fruity nose of cherries, raspberries, strawberries, light tobacco, chocolates and black pepper.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity and thin legs.

Dry on the palate with raspberries, cherries, light oak, spices, tobacco, chocolates, coffee and black pepper.

Tangy finish with fine tannins and sour cranberries.

This is a nice and elegant Pinot Noir from Oregon. Fresh and fruit forward. Light and engaging.

Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel. A good porch wine. Will be nice to revisit it in a couple of years.

Easy drinking and good by itself or with food. I gave it a light chill, and paired it with fresh berries, cheeses and crackers.

100% Pinot Noir grapes were aged in French oak barrels (15% new) for 8 months.

13% alcohol by volume.

89 points.

$30.

Arlyn Vineyard Gamay Noir 2018

Bottle 2 of 3, drank the last one almost 3 years ago! Nose: raspberry (stewed?) and intense menthol. Palette: brandy soaked strawberries, maybe a little chocolate, wild mushrooms, earthiness, long finish, cherry like. Still tannic, silky micro tannins, works well with food. — a month ago

Breaking Ground Chehalem Mountains Pinot Noir 2015

I am tasting the 2018 vintage. Beautiful complex scent of black tea, wood, bacon, potpourri, wet autumn leaves. On the taste, very tart cherry, eucalyptus, black tea, almost a bit of bone marrow. Highly tannic and astringent. Mushroom finish. — 4 months ago
