Nice! Not as dry as expected. Just as delicious as Nice red. — 7 months ago
Cherries, light, 13% which is great. Chambers Street Wines, 2017 — 9 months ago
Sweet taste with a dry finish. Good for both of us. — 3 months ago
Well after Oregon back to aged Burg. Terrific wine, all the autumnal forest leaves and ripe dark red fruits and firm texture (yes denser than the ethereal Hope Well) so familiar from the stash. Yum. Paired with the duck perfectly. — 4 months ago
Domaine de Panisse CdP Noble Revelation
First off you have to know that I love! Love CdP. This is the 2012 vintage and it is hitting all the right notes...
The hue is red with a dollop of brown if you will. After a two hour aeration the smell is quite pleasant: ripe dark plum is predominant with a slight hint of dried Mediterranean spices. Balanced from beginning to mid-pallet, velvety! On the fore-pallet it feels bold and tannic with a long and savory finish.
There is a very casual non pretentious quality about this CdP which screams “drink me” after each and very sip... Enjoyed with a roasted Frenched rack of lamb and red wine reduction sauce, asparagus, and cherry tomatoes. Selection by the lovely Maria Chantal. — a year ago
One of the better wines we have tried in northern Michigan - bright flavors of cherry and strawberry. November 2020. — 4 months ago
