Nice but not amazing. For $40 would probably skip. Decanted 5 hours. Air was necessary - can believe this would be better in a few years but meh. Tannins are quite balanced, surprisingly so. Overall the nose is a bit muted but air helped. Nice dark fruit. Could use a smidge more acid. Nice pairing with a delicious wagyu tomahawk. — 2 months ago

Medium ruby , thin slightly pink ruby rim . Quite dark fruit with cassis , blackberry , grafite . On the palate quite ripe and juicy , but with good balance , slightly gritty but ripe tannins , good cassis tinged , grafite finish . Overall this shows well , with good density and juiciness , sweet but importantly with a very balanced , refreshing personality. Classic left bank kosę - black current, cassis, cedar wood, a bit of pencils shavings, a gravelly undertone. Fresh, restrained, savoury, pure.
On the palate this has a very nice, smooth, velvety mouthfeel. Present tannins yet so nicely polished & juicy. Good purity of fruit - black currants, blackberries, a bit of plum. Ni e length & depth.
Exactly what I expect from a St Estephe - medium body, savoury tartness with just a touch of fruit and excellent food pairing.

An approachable Bordeaux from Lalande Pomerol (Right Bank), the V’17 is blended at 80% Merlot and 20% Cab Franc, that reflects on the straightforwardness from the very beginning, quite aromatic, tons of influences of ripe dark fruit, mulberry with a nice acidity balance. The nose and the palate concours on the intensity back fruit ripeness, a hint plummy that yields freshness that also makes it vibrant and uplifting. The mouthfeel pleases even the most sophisticated tastebuds.
Loved the incorporated and tannins structure with a polish and smooth finish. Drink now, as it is still cruising on its prime time. Cheers!
