Everything a white Bordeaux should be. extremely intense nose, feels oily before you taste it, spiced apples, vanilla, candied cedar, orange oil, lanolin. A tingling spicing sensation hits on the palate, followed by waves of citrus oil in a long finish, combining citrus both, bergamot and woodsy notes. It will balance out further with time, but it’s quite the experience already — 8 days ago
as good as it’s going to get, which is quite good. Purchased in 2025 for $30. — 20 days ago
Light medium caramel core , light copper rim. Quite mature , with spiced creme brûlée , saffron , burnt sugar , some crystallised orange peel , desiccated coconut . Slightly monochrome . On the palate this is quite light , with quite high acidity and a burnt caramel bitterness . Medium sweetness only , quite refreshing acidity . Slightly bitter orange caramel finish . Drink now qnd over the next few years , won’t improve . — 24 days ago
White peaches, hint of lemon zest, slight acidity with nice nose that has a little oak. Very nice. — 14 days ago
Fresh but sumptuous. Nice balance. Good with carrot cake — a year ago

Absolutely lovely classic left bank. 2002 was a less heralded year, but this has stood up extremely well. Just getting to secondary now, still a ton of fruit and earth and leather on the nose and palate. Excellent acid and a very long finish. 13% which is appreciated and the seamlessness comes through. Really delicious and a perfect Thanksgiving meal pairing. Opened 5 hours before dinner and decanted for 1.5 hours. Perfect spot. — 19 hours ago
