Pretty shut down at this point. — 7 months ago
The 2019 Bon Pasteur has more fruit concentration than either the Gravette de Certan and La Fleur de Gay tasted alongside - blackberry and wild strawberry, truffle and a touch of smoke. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, fine acidity, firm backbone yet with plenty of freshness on its sappy finish. A fine Pomerol. Tasted blind at the Southwold annual tasting. Opened and rank over 1.5 hours. Last glass was the best. Glad I have more. — a month ago
Gay brought to equinox dinner - biodynamic - Williams corner wines importer - super yummy, creamy, everyone really liked it, as did I! — 3 years ago
Very nice balance and in it’s perfect window at age 17. Red fruits punctuated with loamy earth tones, nice acidity and a long finish. — 4 months ago
Best wine of the pairing menu. If I ever go back here. It’s not because of the wine. — 9 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2013 V.V. pours a deep, ruby color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of raspberry, cranberry, red flowers, fine warm spices and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Drink now through 2038. — a month ago
