This is a zesty, fruit-forward Bordeaux Blanc that doesn’t hold back. Sauv Blanc 87% provides bright lemon in color with green reflections, it opens with tropical and citrusy aromatics, think pineapple, and a streak of wet stone minerality. And the 13% of Sémillon pushes the apricot and grapefruit notes as well.
On the palate, it’s juicy and textured, with a nice interplay between freshness and roundness that makes it feel both vibrant and satisfying.
It’s a natural match for grilled flaky fish or shellfish, and would be just as welcome alongside a light salad or as a sunny aperitif. A cheerful, energetic white that brings both lift and length to the table. Cheers! — 8 days ago
