Dry and semi-light. The fruity notes are greedy but set back. Breeding is marked without exaggeration with notes of cedar, sweet tobacco, vanilla, graphite; melted with notes of evolution already very present: humus, truffle, undergrowth. A certain refinement. Can age, but already very good.

Un abord plutôt sec, et semi-léger, les notes fruitées sont gourmandes mais en retrait. L’élevage est marqué sans exagération avec des notes de cèdre, tabac doux, vanille, graphite; fondues aux notes d’évolution deja très présentes: humus, truffe, sous-bois. Un raffinement certain. Beautiful ruby dress with depth and brilliance. On the nose and in the mouth, cabernet franc is immediately recognized: typical notes of fruits (red and black, strawberry to black cherry), floral herbaceous plants (ronces, rose, violet), and mineral (slate, graphite)... endowed with a beautiful concentration and acidity still lively, it is a cuvée today perfectly in the balance between youth and maturity with some evolved notes (truffle among others) that brings a beautiful taste relief. A bottle with enough body to attack the big meat. Nice q/p ratio.

Belle robe rubis avec de la profondeur et éclat. Au nez et en bouche, le cabernet franc se fait tout de suite reconnaître: notes typiques de fruits (rouges et noirs, de la fraise à la cerise noire), végétales herbacées florales (ronces, rose, violette), et minérales (ardoise, graphite)… doté d’une belle concentration et d’une acidité encore vive, c’est une cuvée aujourd’hui parfaitement à l’équilibre entre jeunesse et maturité avec quelques notes évoluées (truffe entre autre) qui apporte un beau relief gustatif. A solid Beaujolais-Village, bearing the stigma of the beautiful Beaujolais wines. Tiled ruby color, of a certain concentration. Superb open nose, between candied red fruits (cherry, strawberry), dried floral bouquet (Pink, peony, iris), white pepper, and notes of aerial evolution tending towards truffle, medley, nail polish. Close to a Burgundy in more airy and more floral. Fine and final body on vivacity. Beautiful nobility, superb for its price. Drink a little refreshed.

Robe rubis tuilée, d’une concentration certaine. Superbe nez ouvert, entre fruits rouges confiturés (cerise, fraise), bouquet floral séché (Rose, pivoine, iris), poivre blanc, et notes d’évolution aérienne tendant vers la truffe, pot-pourri, vernis à ongle. Proche d’un Bourgogne en plus aérien et plus floral. Corps fin et finale sur la vivacité. Belle noblesse, superbe pour son prix. À boire un peu rafraîchi. — 2 years ago

Nez multi-dimensionnel annonçant une belle densité: notes vertes paradoxales de menthe, eucalyptus, puis écorces, puis résine, torréfaction, cèdre, vanille, enfin le fruit se révèle derrière les notes tertiaires et d’évolution (terre, humus, truffe). Le bouquet est compact et cohérent. Les tanins sont amples, et l’acidité moyenne. Un vin sur l’ampleur qui pourra supporter des mets gras et juteux sans aucun problème. Peut vieillir. — 2 years ago

These old Brouilly are really incredible! Intense notes of peppery wild strawberries, truffle evolution, undergrowth, dried flowers, blood orange.. the finish is persistent, like the fragrances of a perfume, intertwining fine tannins and endless acidity veins, with light bitters welcome.

Ces vieux Brouilly sont vraiment incroyables! Notes intenses de fraises de bois poivrées, évolution truffe, sous-bois, fleurs séchées, orange sanguine.. la finale est rémanente, tel les fragrances d’un parfum, entrelaçants tanins fins et nervures d’acidité sans fin, avec de légers amers bienvenus. — 2 years ago
