Bandol Grenache Blend Rosé 2023

Some white peach, almond, subtle plum skin. If you don’t see the color, it drinks surprisingly close to a southern Italian white like Greco di tufo — 4 months ago

Château de La Tour

Clos Vougeot Vieilles Vignes Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2016

Slightly deeper colour than the 2019 and 2017 . More closed , quite rich summer fruits , touch more mineral . Pretty big and rich in the mouth , more powerful tannins , more masculine more wild and serious than the 2017 . Long and mineral on the finish . Needs time this may well close down but lots of promise . Quite mineral and saline on the rose and redcurrant tinged finish . Will improve over the next 10-15 years and last a further 10 . — 2 years ago

Château la Tour de l'Évêque

Côtes de Provence Rosé Blend 2021

Bright, pale salmon orange. Shy nose and medium light palate underripe peach, dried strawberry, citrus pastels, and honeysuckle nectar, layered with other juicy fruity and floral notes. Medium acidity from entry to the moderate, red licorice finish. The gastronomic rosé from Regine Sumaire's flagship Château makes an excellent sipper, but shines when paired with food. Spring and summer fare (salade Niçoise is a classsic) of course, but anywhere you want a refreshing, light companion. Drink now. — 3 years ago
