Vent d'Ange Chablis Chardonnay 2020

Very muted in the nose… hardly anything at first, fresh saltiness, barely a hint of green apple & lemon peel. And yet, fresh & enticing.
And then, on the palate this sings! Simply beautiful! With a touch of roundness & creaminess on the palate but also vibrant acidity, salinity, stony minerality. Ripe yellow apple & lemon. Vibrant, juicy and quite complex. Great depth & length.
A benchmark for Chablis & delish!

Domaine Font de Michelle

Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend 2016

Nose has deep blackberry fruit and a bit of garrigue-y earthy notes, a little iodine. Deeply rich in the mouth. The fruit has a very slight pruny element but does not detract. In the finish, however, the peppery heat of the alcohol (only a stated 14.5%) makes a prominent appearance. Long. — 8 months ago
