Dark ruby. Inviting nose of baked black cherry and hints of leather. Brighter cherry and softer leather on the medium full palate adding red apple peel, light tannins, and medium acidity. Finish is moderate and continues the palate before a quick drop off. Very nice and a value at under $50. Drink now through 2030. — a month ago

Ruby coloration. On the nose, currants, Dark berries. On the palate, currants, dark berry, cassis. Tannins are still strong after 15 years. — 5 years ago
Jasmine, quince paste, spiced pear, lemon curd, pineapple sweetness, punchy. Touch of lemon pith at end, but tons of juicy acid. Creamy / lactic. Chalky minerals. Layered, delicious, weighty.

Made with 70% Xarel-lo and 30% Macabeo in the Penedes, this is beautifully expressive, with brioche, butterscotch, and roasted almonds on the nose. Hints of citrus and crushed flowers peek out with time. On the palate the flavors mirror the nose, and a vibrant acidity comes through as well. Mouthfeel is creamy, and finish is long, with brioche and mineral notes lingering on the palate. Aged 95 months on the lees. Paired well with swordfish braised with tomatoes and sweet yellow peppers. — 5 days ago
