Medium amber; medium plus intensity aromas of lychee, honey, honeysuckle, dried apricot, crystallized pineapple; sweet, low alcohol, full body, medium plus intensity flavors of lychee, dried apricot, candied pineapple, honey; long finish, very concentrated flavors, aromatic and floral, very good — 7 years ago
Vintage 2001| Proof of a long life for riesling. The colour was really brown, mahony brown. Smell with a very little petrol, more honey. That honey is also present in the taste. Good balanced. Appreciating such a ripe wine is a matter of acquired taste. Paired with a mixed fish stew. — 5 months ago

Almost dessert-like with a rich, sweet, pear and honey finish. — 9 months ago
This wine was honey in a glass with a touch of acidity to balance it out. Notes of peaches and honey on the palate. It was fantastic with buffalo wings, which makes sense because Gewurztraminer translates to ”spicy grape.” — 7 years ago
Big Gewurz fan and this bottle is drinking great. Spivey, floral with layers of fruit and great acidity. Delicious. — 6 months ago

This is flat out gorgeous. Although the nose is slightly holding back, on the palate this is broad and baroque, yet so bright and beautifully balanced. Unctuous, but not too much. Great maracuja-mango-pineapple-nectarine fruit. Lovely dashes of botrytis and sweet spices. Apricotpreserve and caramelised apples. Perfect acidity to even out the sweetness. Interesting touch of Triple Sec on the midpalate.
This wine is so charming and complete. I love it.
Only 10% ABV, so I had no problems finishing this half bottle! 😋 — 19 days ago
