Great desert wine. Sweet on its own, but not overwhelmingly so, allowing it to pair with other sweet bites (in our case, an ice cream sandwich). — 3 years ago
Great alone, with food, so solid. Vibrant sweet berries. Tannins moderate and nice. Had two bottles. Cab Sav and Syrah play very well together. Syrah ands the acute, light sweetness full mouth. — 4 years ago
One of the best Brazilian wines ever! — 5 years ago
Not too smokey. Mild and balanced. I do recommend this! — 6 years ago
Nice body and tannins. Perfect with chili. — 7 years ago
Strong and dense red 👀 with visble legs.
Dried prunes and some berries, vanilla, grounded black pepper, cloves with a hint of leather and rust 👃
Chewy tart and fruity full body with medium acidity 👄
Medium 🎯 with light and pleasent dryness.
Quite bold which I'm not enthusiastic about.
Good vfm (65 nis as part of half a case of Portuguese variety).
Good stuff but not my stuff.
Had it after dinner, food would make things more intresting for sure .
Must say that an hour in the glass made it taste deeper and much less attacking. Must air it in advance. Added a tenth of a point. — 8 years ago
Very light and fruity, pretty — 2 years ago
We went after finding a few bottles after we tasted the 2014. Nose of crushed flowers, tobacco, tar, and a dollop of asian spices. Oh soo good in the mouth, relatively accessible but prominent tannins and will do much better in 5 to 7 years. Our kind of Barolo, phenomenal with food. Top stuff. — 3 years ago
Nice wine but seems to be drinking quite a bit older than 2004, especially given the general high quality of the 04 vintage. Would have guessed mid 90s in terms of age alone. Unfortunately this is the 4th older bottle (not sure 2004 is even really “old” per se) of different wines purchased from Chambers St Wines that has felt off in some way. Won’t do it again.
All that said, this was nice - quite typically nebbiolo, bricking in the glass, secondary fruit, good acid. Great pairing with slow braised lamb shanks with polenta. — 5 years ago
A beautiful red brick color. Candied cherries, clove and cinnamon aromas and flavors. A California-style pinot noir made in Brazil. @Antonio Galloni , you should try the wines from this producer. They got nice ratings from Decanter Magazine. It is something new and different in the wine world. — 6 years ago
Tar, underbrush, anise, rose, raspberry. Bracing but not aggressive tannins. Really nice. Not as exciting the second night, which leads me to think it's at or near its peak. I've got more, so let's do this @Larry Frierson ! — 7 years ago
Nice bottle to finish the weekend. Killing it, but still too young. Next bottles should be post 2020. Great leather and toasty notes, mild oxidation, great balance. Color is like a light tawny port, but more red, still translucent, and an intriguing come hither vibe... We drink Vin Santo so infrequently, but wow do I miss this bottle, this producer is a star.
Getting back to this bottle after a seven day delay...Wow! Somehow it picked up more acid, fruit and the tawny port-like nose is awesome. Glad we still have a few bottles in hiding. — 9 years ago

burre et une belle acidite volatie, elvage en cuve innox, sea salt and potato chips. reminds me of a new zeland wine — 2 years ago
Pairing my GRAN RESERVA Añon 2011 with my TSO’s chicken take out because I Can!! … All the goodness of an Xtra aged great Tempranillo (gently toasted, smoky, balsamic notes of ripe strawberry fruit, herbs, leather, licorice, tobacco and vanilla) foR UN-believable price … it does lacks a bit of complexity but … C’mon !! This much quality for the price !!??? How they do this ?? Thanks anyway …. — 5 years ago
Unusual skin-contact white made with 100% Pedro Ximénez (also known as Pero Ximén in Málaga) from a very old vineyard in Cerro de Santo Pitar in the Sierras de Málaga (just 258 bottles made!). Aged for 13 months in oak. Fresh and mineral. Citrus. Notes of rubber reminiscent of Riesling (for a long time, it was believed Pedro Ximénez was related to Riesling) — 6 years ago
A medium garnet color with a wide rim. Classic Barbaresco nose of dried roses, cherries, and dark chocolate. Absolutely gorgeous on the nose. This is one of those producers where you just know that it’s going to be good. A fuller bodied Nebbiolo that’s dancing gracefully at the moment. Ripe tannins that do need a bit of air before the fruit can be fully uncovered. Silky smooth on the tongue and just plain delectable. Touches of leather and dried herbs to go along with the oak, stewed plums, and more cherries on the palate. Chocolate mousse and tobacco follow on the long finish. This can definitely hold up a for several more years but I wouldn’t blame you for opening now. — 7 years ago
A golden beauty. High alcohol. this 2012 is displaying some nice aged qualities. Probably not the best santorini out there but we were able to snag this bottle to get a sense of what these wines can do with age and it’s promising. Has some ‘petrol’, lotsa lemon rind, and the volcanic minerality isn’t gone. — 8 years ago
