Young Silvia Barbaglia makes fantastic wines in this tiny Northern Piemonte DOC. Boca is a blend from Nebbiolo and Vespolina. This 2006 has aged beautifully and smells like Nebbiolo dried roses, intertwined with Vespolina violets. Elegant and profound, perfectly balanced and very good length. The vineyard is less than 1 hectare and is fully organically farmed about 600 bottles made and elevate in barriques. Amazing Sangiovese effort. Amazing balance, great acidity, cassis all over your nose but not overripe. Outstanding effort, unfortunately very little available. — 3 years ago
