2005 vintage. Beautiful nose, with cassis, blackberries, cedar wood, a little smokiness, and flowers. Seriously concentrated, combining power and elegance. Layers of fruit in a tight but ripe tannic structure. Showing beautifully now, but it should age effortlessly for decades. Classic Saint-Julien. — 2 months ago
Best expression of Syrah I’ve had in some time. 2021 was a hell of a Rhône year — 4 months ago
Lovely. Slightly tropical. Mineral. Delicious. Long finish. — a month ago
Much better than the first bottle I had in 2020. Strawberries — 4 months ago
Nose: rich. Still a hint of oak. A bit of minerality peeking through. Yellow flowers. As this opens some pear.
Palate: this is a rich wine. Yellow fruits. Delicious. Framing oak. Magnificent elegant acidity. Perfect acidic balance.
A magnificent richness. — 2 months ago
Nice herbal cherry notes with a hint of leather. This is a great Jura wine. Decent value, too — $50. — 4 months ago
