Fresh entry-level wine from one of Bierzo’s most exciting producers, a blend of Palomino Fino and Doña Blanca from old vines rooted on slate and quartzy soils in a vineyard named Frontairo. Dry, aromas of toast and straw. Citrus, saltiness. Good acidity. — 4 years ago

Very easy to drink. Smooth. — 2 years ago
70% Carricante 30% Catarratto from Sicily and yes I needed Jancis Robinson et al. to tell me what those grapes are. Dry with nice aromatics (curry, cumin, dried red pepper) and minerality. If you had told me this was Vermentino I would have believed you. Very nice and yes @Brendan Devine it’s natty. — 3 years ago
This is closed now. Notes are an hour in.
Nose: a gorgeous herbaceous ness. Fleeting cherry flowers.
Palate: fleeting cherries. Almost a cherry sorbet. So silky. Beautiful in an ephemeral way.
This is beautiful. Too young. But beautiful.
