NOSE: smells like champagne. Bready, butter, a little sea minerals.

TASTE: nice small bubbles and texture, toasty buttery taste like the nose - quite distinct. I prefer more citrus and fruit (I only taste a little melon and pear here), but this is good! 90. — 2 years ago

The terroir of the Old vines in Sierra Foothills give this California grown Tempranillo a beautiful new world character. The fruit is forward but balanced and just a lovely easy wine to drink. Acid structure solid for cellaring but it’s hard to tell how long without tannic testing — 5 years ago

@Peter van den Besselaar more of an emergency purchase. We needed some bubbly with our meal and I usually only stock special occasion Champagne. Went to the local bar and they suggested this as a good sparkler for under €25. If it had been under €15, I would consider buying again.
