Vintage Champagne Blend 2015

First time trying the 2015 vintage and loved it! Powerful Champagne thats good on its own but will hold up excellently with food. One of my favourite Champagne houses that offers amazing QPR — 20 days ago

Tignanello Toscana Super Tuscan Blend 2020

9.3

From Coravin at my nephews restaurant at Sundays Italian lunch. A nice moment to check in for my bottles that I have in my cellar. Obviously way to young but drinking well nevertheless. Solid wine, potential 94-95 with some age but not the best vintage IMHO. — 5 days ago

Vintage Tunina Venezia Giulia White Blend 2010

The color concerned me, but this was still going strong. Just enough acidity.
Friuli field blend of Sauv Blanc, Chard, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia and Picolit. Fingers crossed that my 2006 will show as well!

Dominus Estate

Dominus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2016

The closest thing to true Bordeaux style red blend from Napa. This wine really accentuates the vintage and the terroir, along with fruit and soil. The Dominus Estate manages the vineyard via dry farming, relying on nature for water, making a profound difference on great vintages such as 2016. Find a good vintage Dominus and you’re bound to have one of kind. Cheers. — 7 days ago

Vintage Port Blend 2003

375ml. Rich, ripe, plummy and berry ooze fruit still present and accounted for, a little spirity note, and some nice subtle old wood furniture notes. So rich and enveloping on entry, it’s full and quite resolved. Very lengthy. Love this. — 2 months ago

Lovely picture, such a joy

Krug

Vintage Brut Champagne Blend 1995

The 1995 Krug showed a touch more oxidative and had more concentrated fruit than the ‘96 Pierre Peters that we enjoyed alongside. There’s a lovely mélange of strawberry, white peach, citrus, nuts and marshmallow. Similarly to the PP, there’s fabulous acid and a long life ahead. — a month ago

Château Lynch-Bages

Grand Cru Classé Pauillac Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 1975

Another great btl from a vintage I have had many times. This was fresh and drinking much younger than its age with red, black fruits, currant, cedar, leather, earth, sweet spices, tobacco & cigar ash — 20 days ago

Dom Pérignon

Brut Champagne Blend 2015

A high quality champagne just not the style of DP I seek out. I found this vintage hedonistic versus serious. Obviously very young. I wish I had the skill set to speculate on how this will turn out with time. — 20 days ago

Across many of my favorite producers, the 2015 vintage isn’t my favorite expression. It’s good, but like you said, it’s pretty flashy.
