One of about 7-10 Ca Chardonnay’s I enjoy. My last of three. Their 2018 is slightly better than other of their vintages I’ve had.

This rides the fence of of white burgundy & Ca Chardonnay.

Macerated red & green apples, some lime & lemon pulp, tropical fruits, kiwi, heathered honey, caramel, sandstone, saline, dry river stone, soft white spice, just a hint of brown sugar, a near chalky presence that coats the tongue, vanilla, frothy cream foam, yellow flowers, jasmine nice round acidity and an elegant rich, balanced, nicely tensioned w/ a 60 second finish that lands on volcanics and just a shade of spice. — 11 days ago

Pale lemon in color with a golden hue.

Beautiful nose of citrus, lemons, apples, pears, light earth, light oak and spices.

Medium-bodied and elegant, with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with lemons, apples, citrus, pears, spices, light oak, sea salt, light earth and minerals.

Long finish with limes and almonds.

This is a delicious Chardonnay from Napa Valley. Nicely balanced, complex and engaging. Tangy, soft and interesting. Feels like an upscale White Burgundy.

This Single Vineyard Chardonnay is still young, but already drinking beautifully, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years. Showing good potential to become a 94+ point wine.

Good right out of the bottle, and better when not too cold.

100% Chardonnay grapes were aged in (20% new) French oak barrels for 20 months.

14.5% alcohol by volume.
