Big hype about this beer, as is "Hop Slam" this one much easy to get, in fact, in CA you can get in many places all the time, price is reasonable too, just check the bottled or canned on dates since it travels far, solid IPA, really nothing new or different, just done very well in the style, if you like your IPA's balanced between malt and hops, like Dogfish then this is perfect fit you, not for me, I prefer the hops be the "Show" but I am not knocking the Beer for that, just I think it is a little over rated — 10 years ago

Best surprise in a long time, had a bottle sent to me from my college roommate half a country away. Very floral, well hopped balanced with a good malt backbone. A balanced beer more IPA than traditional pale ale. Only 10 days old. Would definitely buy if they ever distributed to CO. — 9 years ago

Wow. St. Bernardus Abt 12 on nitro. SO much better than what you get in bottle. Great complexity with layers of malt, chocolate, and molasses. Not as sweet as what I typically associate with this beer (could be the lower serving temp), which really helps keep it in balance. Absolutely fantastic. — 9 years ago
