Such a great beer. Creamy head, beautiful golden color, and malty — 6 years ago
Ah, the king of them all. So bitter after fruitier IPA’s. Dangerously refreshing.
Easy to put away, 1,2,3 . 5.2°
Balance of grain/hops. Not too much or too little. With fatty foods, a dream.
Used to be a nicer can. No accounting for aesthetics. Not to mind, in this case, Chicago conquers Philly. I bow. — 9 months ago
One of America’s finest IPA’s. Malty, spicy, hoppy citric, all in great balance.
At 7°, it’s not a drink up and forget, unless you’ve drank that many. But it is refreshment par excellence. ( almost beer geeky! Ha) it’s nice that it’s sold in a few formats so ya get your choice. And widely available. Everything done right. — 9 months ago
This is amazing! Right up there with Pliny for me. So well balanced and complex. Would love to try one fresh in Maine as the trek to California probably has some negative influence on taste. — 6 years ago

Wasn’t expecting this to hold up to the amazingly rich tonkatsu at Butagumi. But, really hit the mark, especially with a bite of cabbage — a year ago
