Unscrew and pour. On the nose: soft spritz, heady mint and lime mixed with peach. This wine is not what I would call low ABV (14%), and that is perceptible on the nose. On the palate: lovely acidity and density, fantastic creamy mouthfeel, then more lime.and peach. Very fresh, but needs a lot of time, imo (maybe 3-5 years?). — 5 years ago

Love this. Happy to have a case. — 4 years ago
Light white straw with medium- viscosity, some solids at bottom of bottle. Nose sees lemon rind, lime. Palette sees white peaches, over ripe yellow apples, lots of lemon, lime, limestone minerality. Medium++ acid. Solid wine and great value for $19, but I prefer the cheaper non-reserve offering. Wished the aftertaste was cleaner and crisper on this. — 8 years ago
Excrement JR sourced Austrian Riesling with very lively straw hay infused nose and firm palate. Touch of petrol. Very nice dry Riesling. — 4 years ago

Nice medium pink Rose of Pinot Noir from Austria! mellowed by a bit of age. Strawberry peach orange and mixed floral acidic notes with very lively stony firm texture and good bite carrying through to a stimulating long finish. ABV 12. Nice JR buy and apparently top seller last several years. Last bottle. Raised score by one from 2016 note. — 5 years ago

Really well made Riesling. Not the oily “you know it’s Riesling” type; 12%!alc., med+acid, apple, unripe pear, quince, tropical hint and roomy (Hannibal Lechter, sorry) Wow. Find more! Go Austria! — 3 months ago
