Lots of complex aromatics that became even more expressive as the bottle warmed up. Some oxidative notes mixed with bread and flowers. In the mouth this leans to the vinous side. Acid driven which allows it to be consumed through out the meal. Just a hint of bitterness on the finish — 2 years ago
Still quite austere but built like a tank. Serious juice. — 2 years ago
Drank well, but just not as precise as the Brochet. — 3 years ago
Killer Champagne! 50/50 blend of Chardonnay from Taissy and Pinot Noir out of Mailly. Dégorgement 07/21. 9 years old, bit oxi but also very fresh. On the nose a bit of port, raspberry yoghurt / danoontje, almonds, lemonrind and great minerality. — 7 months ago
2016 - massively rewarded patience which vinous complexity. Best bottle we have had of this. — 3 years ago
