The name speaks loudly and Tuscan…but it’s it’s not…it is distinctively Italian with it’s own central Italy region and grape. 2015 Carignan - Beautiful deep ruby red color. Nose reminiscent of a super ripe cherry covered in dirt!
On the palate, dry, upbeat, crunchy acidity, pomegranate, cherry, cherry cola, turns into a crunchy black fruit, some spicy notes🤔. Well integrated *medium* tannins, earthy finish. Dangerously drinkable!
Went soooo well with pepperoni pizza!
