This is a salty, smooth light to light-medium body orange - holds on to a bit of a Sauvignon zest - well balanced. Deep amber.
The winemakers also do an unfiltered bottle which I would love to try. — 2 months ago
Pretty much textbook Barbera. — 3 months ago
This smells like a very young nose with cherry, rose petals, a bit of leather, a bit of coffee too. The palate is fresh, easy going yet a bit structured too. Good acid drive, nice leathery and cherry notes all along, some drying tannins in the rear that are not overwhelming though, before a long, nice finish with cherry and a tiny touch of umami, with a tiny meat juice touch. It's a great example of very well made chianti classico, enjoyable in pop and pour mode. — 24 days ago

My favorite from my dad's cellar. A little drier, sugarless neutral cranberry. — 20 days ago

Lean but not stringent. Subtle fruit notes of melon and stone fruit. Not at all citrusy! — 3 months ago
Pure lemon, soft minerality, clean finish. Very easy to drink. — 5 months ago
