A lovely, extremely versatile wine. Typical Bonny Doon quality. — 6 months ago
65/18/15/2 blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsaut and Petit Sirah. Moderate to high pigment extraction, purple red. Aromas and flavors of black pepper and raspberry. Ever so slightly tart, moderate skin astringency on finish with spearmint and alcohol-forward bitterness. Will mellow with decanting. Good value with a screw cap thrown in, yes! Drinks better than the last vintage I had of this. — 8 months ago
Remember all the odd but good wines from BD. Just a few bottles left and tasting very good — 5 years ago
Soft notes of mocha and light coffee roast with gentle dusty tannins an earthy core and light red fruit mingling with smoked meat. The finish is peppery but elegant — 7 years ago
This is a rosé for people who don't drink rosé because they feel there's no complexity there. This is loaded with complexity, starting with the color - is it pink, salmon, copper, onion… - and continuing on the nose, which offers up a hint of funk along with a host of saline, herbal aromas. The palate shows more fruit, but stays in the savory range. Zesty acidity tops off this piece of perfection with poise. — 7 years ago
Rich and and mild. Delicious and perfectly balanced. Too bad they don’t make these any more. Should look for it. — 6 months ago
Crisp bright and dry with floral notes, a soft slightly viscous mouthfeel and a lingering finish. A true to Rhone stunner. — 4 years ago
One of my favorites. Love this wine but can never find it anymore! — 5 years ago
Ruby in color. The nose had hints of cherries, rhubarb and hint of barnyard. Medium bodied with sweet cherries, black raspberries and ripe plum. The finish was a bit short but laced with bitters and black pepper. — 6 years ago
Peppery, meaty and earthy on the nose. Juicy on the palate. — 7 years ago

Rhône-style blend of primarily Grenache (69%) with additions of Syrah (15%), Cinsault (14%) and Petite Sirah (2%). Bright red color with a small ruby core. Aromas of ripe red fruit, fresh herbs and dusty earth. Flavors of red raspberry, strawberry and currant fruit with additional notes of fennel seeds, tobacco and black pepper spice. Long earthy and spicy finish. No sign of oak aging. Bright, fresh and well structured. Nice chill-able Summer Red. Enjoyed at Three Oaks Steakhouse in Easton, PA. — 6 days ago
