After 30 minutes of decanting all of the sharp acidity rounded out & it is like a baby CdP. Great value wine. — 3 years ago
Really like the minerality on this. Would drink any day. — 3 years ago
One of my favorites. Love this wine but can never find it anymore! — 4 years ago
One of the nicest rosés we’ve had. — 3 hours ago
The Bonny Doon flagship. Lighter red. Ruby red. Floral nose. Sort of a ripe meadow strawberry meets damsel plum. Flavors are juicy, tart and elegant. Complex. Smoke and good red/black fruit. This is a wine that hits a home run. — 4 months ago
Crisp bright and dry with floral notes, a soft slightly viscous mouthfeel and a lingering finish. A true to Rhone stunner. — 3 years ago
2023 Orange
Orange blossom, orange peel, tart acidity with pithy texture. Maybe the orange color has me projecting but 🍊🧡🍊🧡🍊 — 2 months ago
Very interesting Central Coast single varietal offering. Dark ruby color with a garnet rim. Plush aromas of black fruit, violets, smoke and wet slate. Black plum, black raspberry and boysenberry fruit flavors with hints of black pepper and dark bitter chocolate. Long, dusty and mineral-laden finish. Plush soft tannins, fruit forward and quite fleshy. Wonderful balance and perfectly aged. Another unique and well crafted Boony Doon wine. — 3 months ago
Fascinating. A lot of melon and earth. — 3 years ago
David Shaw
65/18/15/2 blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsaut and Petit Sirah. Moderate to high pigment extraction, purple red. Aromas and flavors of black pepper and raspberry. Ever so slightly tart, moderate skin astringency on finish with spearmint and alcohol-forward bitterness. Will mellow with decanting. Good value with a screw cap thrown in, yes! Drinks better than the last vintage I had of this. — 13 days ago
